With regard to the nature of the headache, the most common form of pregnancy is migraine. Headache in migraine may be accompanied by visual impairment, gastrointestinal disorders, nausea, vomiting, nervous response to light. The pain is usually severe, throbbing, aching mostly half of the head. Often preceded by the so-called migraine aura, which appear before the eyes of “flies” or flashes of light.
It is noteworthy that about 15% of women never experiencing migraine attacks, the first encounter with them is with the onset of pregnancy. But it happens also that the headache is no longer tormented woman as the times during childbearing.
